Nail Art A Go Go Challenge! ~ Day 2 Jewel Tones

Hello Dahlings!

 

My 1st idea for this prompt was a total fail. Blerg.

So I hit da interwebby for more ideas

& learned about Drusy Gemstones.

Guess what?

Sparkly texture polish looks just like Drusy!

So after comparing all my glittery texture polishes to da pics I found,

I picked these for my Jewel Tones...

 

 I started with 2 coats of each base color

then added a funky frenchy for fun.

 

White Drusy Quartz ~ OPI Solitaire (base on my pinky)

Crysocholla ~ OPI Tiffany Case (base on ring)

Amethyst ~ OPI Can't Let Go (base on middle)

Garnet ~ Orly Pink Pixel (base on index)

Hematite ~ Orly Black Pixel (base on thumb)

 

I used a short striping brush to make da stripes on my tips.

Is too sparkly...must hide eyes or go blinded for li-ife!
