Hello Dahlings!
This time the Tarts are doing nail art over a black base.
Easy peasy, nice & squeezy!
I did this...
I did this not long before Halloween,
so that's where my design went.
My black base is 2 coats of a franken I made
that contains the leftovers of good black polishes.
You know how when you get past the half way point
in a bottle of polish, it gets harder to get
a usable amount of polish on the brush?
This is my solution to those half empty bottles
of frequently used colors like black & white.
Black base franken ~ Silk Boxers
Sinful Colors ~ Got a Bat-attitude
After applying my franken base coat & 2 coats of Silk Boxers,
I added 2 coats of Got a Bat-attitude
& avoided fishing out any lil bats.
Then I full brush dabbed Bat-chelor in Paradise on all my nails.
Most chunky polish require lots of fishing
to get those big shapes out of the bottle, but not with BinP.
If anything, I was having to put bats & moons back in the bottle
for the nails I was going to be stamping on!
I used MoYou London ~ Festive 29
with Midnight Pumpkin to stamp the Jack O' Lantern faces
& sealed it all in with a coat of Seche Vite on the stamped nails
& added a coat of Carpe Noctem ~ Glitter Slayer
before adding a coat of Seche Vite.
The tips of the bat wings were a lil pokey,
but this glitter smoothing top coat did the trick.
Yeah, this worked out well!
