Howdy Do, Dahlings!
Today I have another batch of beautiful polishes
from Cuttin' Edge Nails to share with you!
Some were sent for swatching & review,
while others were bought  be me or were gifts from Sara.
This is da required legalese shiz cuz me & Sara be all cool about it.
All swatches are 2 coats of color over clear liquid latex
with SH Dries Instantly top coat, unless otherwise noted
Let's get this polish party started!
This is a subtle shimmery topper unless worn over dark undies.
I used black undies for this pic.
It adds a rich pinky-purple shimmer
& scattered holo rainbows to any polish!
This is a GREAT summer fun polish!
The milky white jelly base is buttery smooth
& the neon rainbow of butterflies
& assorted hex bits playing tag
with larger silver holo hexs means eye candy
both indoors & out in da sun having fun.
You may need a 2nd layer of top coat
if any of da butterflies try to flutter their wings.
This is da bottle you should be grabbin'
when you want to add lil rainbows to ANY mani!
This is one coat over Girls Will Be Girls
& you may recognize it from last week's Tart mani.
Another subtle polish unless worn over darker undies.
shown over black here
It's jam packed to da point of no fishing required
to load your nails with asst silver holo bits, shards of iridescent
& lil white bows in a luscious shimmery blue buttery smooth base.
It's like instant winter on your nails...without risking frostbite!
Needing some poke your eyes out bright green holo fun?
Than you NEED this polish!
It does need 3 thin or 2 thick coats for opacity
shown here with 2 commando coats
or you could put on some white undies to make it go WOW.
As an added bonus, when you order Tinkbell,
you get a mini of You Can Fly!
This topper is stuffed full of neon flutterbys, largish silver holo hexes
& lots of blue micro bits!
Minimal fishing required to add some lost boys fun to any mani.
Admit it, you know you want these beauties on your nails!
So head on over to Cuttin' Edge Nails
& load up on fantabulous polish
plus stamping plates & bling

A mix of things & a lesson learned!

Hello Dahlings!
Today's mani is a lesson learned.
Here's what I did...
I really loved wearing this mani!
I even did it on both hands!
I started with 2 yummilicious coats of Cupcake Polish Eleanor.
It's both a strong linear holo AND a pink to blue duo chrome.
Lesson learned?
Don't wear a beauty like this for undies.
 This is why.
I added one coat of Ciate' Risky Business
& completely hid all that Eleanor had to offer.
Risky Business is gorgeous with it's sheer silver shimmer base,
strong purple shift & blue glitters,
but it would have been fine over plain black undies.
At best, Eleanor gave the base a gunmetal appearance.
I really did have fun playing with da shifting colors!
 How pretty is that?
After 2 days of just playing with da shift,
I added stamping using a prototype black stamping polish
Both d stamper & da plate are from Beautometry
where I should just hand over my cc
& call it good cuz I want pretty much everything they offer in plates.
I didn't want to take this off, but after 4 days,
I need to do some swatching & other manis.
So goes da life of a nail blogger!
>^. .^<
I don't see any cats around here.
Me either.

CNT 52 week PNM ~ Patchwork &/or Bright & Happy

Hello Dahlings!
This week da Tarts are doing patchwork &/or bright & happy manis!
I did this...
Bright & happy neon flutterbys from Cuttin Edge Nails!
I started with 2 coats of squishy milky based Girls Will Be Girls
I did have to fish & dab a wee bit
to get da butterflies to come out & play,
but no probs getting lots of those bright neon
& silver holo bits on mah nails.
I added a layer of SH Dries Instantly over GWBG last night before bed.
This morning I added a coat of Cuttin Edge Holo Top Coat
followed by a coat of Seche Vite to seal in da happy goodness.
Not only did this topper add soft scattered holo rainbows
to Girls Will Be Girls, it also didn't gray da white base color!
This is always a bonus when using holo tcs.
We have REAL SUN today!
Granted, our sunny season is just getting started,
but where I live, we only get maybe 55 full sun days a year.
I don't mind this lack of day glow as I sunburn easily
& our normally gray weather suits me just fine,
but I do like to look out da windows
& see da bright & happy colors of da world when da sun shines.
>^. .^<
With da sun comes Big Green Egg season!
Technically, Mr Inky could grill & smoke nibbles
all year round in our mildish weather,
but he seems to have an aversion
to standing in da rain to set da egg up
& tend it just to make me some uber excellent noms.
Men, go figure?
Me no likey you not sharing meat noms, Meowy!
Thanks for stopping by
& please go share da luvies with da other Tarts!

based on V.C. Andrews series of books & movies.
Swatches of some of da collection will be posted this Sunday!
It went on buttery smooth with no fishing required & dried flat.
I love how it looks like a Monet painting of a garden on mah nails!

CNT 52 week PNM ~ Paisley & Taupe

Hello Dahlings!
This week da Tarts are showing manis featuring paisley & taupe.
Paisley has been around for hundreds, if not thousands of years.
It originated in Persia (now Iran) & you can learn more about it HERE.
Taupe is one of da weirder colors out there.
It's somewhere between brown & grey.
It's French & originally was used to describe the color of French moles.
the digging critters, not the growths on skin kind
Lecture over.
Here's what I did with this week's prompts...
I used 2 coats of Orly Faint of Heart for my taupe
& stamped using Mentality Black Opaque
I finished with my usual coat of Seche Vite.
I used this generic XL plate 'I' that I got on Amazon ages ago.
That's it. That's all I got.
>^. .^<
Mole? I want one to play wif!
I'll hug him & squeeze him & call him George...
right before I eats him!
Thanks for stopping by
& please share da luvs
by visiting da other Tarts!

Sunday Swatch-o-rama feat. Big T Ranch Soap & Candles

Hello Dahlings!
I have some new beauties sent to me from Big T Ranch
to share with you today!
Let's get to it...
all swatches are 2 coats of color
over black undies with top coat
unless otherwise noted
This smooth topper has oodles of blue, green & purple bits
sprinkled with blue green holo bits in a clear base.
You can wear it over any color to add some sparkle
tho' it will pop more over darker base colors.
This buttery multichrome topper is FANTABULOUS in person!
I managed to capture most of it's beauty in this pic
with it's copper, gold & green showing.
In some lighting the purple & maroon come out to play too.
You'll want to wear this one over a dark polish
to best bring out da colors.
Another beautiful buttery multichrome topper with shifting
purple, blue & green with a hint of copper
when da light hits it just right.
Dark undies are a must for this polish to show it's full potential.
Do you like squishy jelly with metallic fuchsia shards & purple holo bits?
Then this is da polish for you!
I put it on over white undies to show you how pretty da base color is,
but you could wear it au natural too if you don't mind a bit of VNL.
Wear it over black & da sparkly bits will POP!
Another FANTABULOUS in person multichrome topper
with it's green & purple playing peek-a-boo
with da blue & gold.
Wear over dark undies or you'll miss out on all da colors.
>^. .^<
Paints my claws wif dose pretties, please?
You know you want these beauties on your claws!

Nothing holding me back but me ~ feat Cuttin Edge Polish!

Hello Dahlings!
Today I have for you a very ME mani!
I was uber busy in April & a swatchin fool last weekend
& I really needed to bust out with a mani I knew I'd love.
Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy swatching.
I only do it for indies that I really love
& it gives me the chance to try out colors, finishes & glitters
that I might not normally buy.
But some days I just gotta be me!
The title of this post is a bit symbolic & plays with da polish names.
Let me 'splain...
Is this mani me or what!?!
Da base color & glitter are from Cuttin Edge Nails
Da stamping polish & plate are from Beautometry.
The base color is called Wishful Thinking
& I topped it with Grape Expectations.
Both are what every one has when they think about their lives
& what they want to accomplish while they're on da planet.
Da barbed wire represents da limits we tend to place on ourselves
(or let others place on us)
that keep us from fulfilling those wishes & meeting those expectations.
We don't have to live down to our own or other's limitations!
This is 2 buttery smooth, sparkalicious coats of Wishful Thinking.
I love da rich blue violet base with it's holo bits & pinky purple shimmer!
I added 2 coats of Grape Expectations
This topper couldn't be more ME if it were a customer order!
Pinky purple & silver holo bits play with pink, blue & purple bits
in asst shapes & sizes in a party on da nail.
No fishing required & everybody settled down to dry flat.
I stamped using Hit the Bottle Chromeo,
all from Beautometry.
Beautometry has really been floating my Inky boat
& emptying my bank account cuz they carry several lines
of stamping plates from other countries that have images I prefer, l
ike Hello Kitty, Halloween/horror & Goth/Punk.
Too many plate makers think everybody wants flowers & flourishes.
I do on rare occasions or for nail art challenges,
but all da time? Bletch!
Gimme something fun & creepy on mah nails
or just give me a lobotomy so I don't care, please?
>^. .^<
Ciri never lets anything hold him back from naps.
