Weird Wednesdays ~ Glow In The Dark polish comparison!

Hello Dahlings!

Today's fun is a comparison of 4 white glow in the dark polishes that are currently available in stores in the US. Realistically, a peep really only needs one of these polishes...but I rarely deal with reality (if I can help it) & tend to have a potato chip mentality when it comes to my polish hording collecting. My obsession is your access to polish related info for free! Here we go...

Da line up: Peripera 802 (white crème), Rubie's GITD (from the Spirit Halloween store in a set with GITD lipstick), Blackheart Beauty Major Ranger, China Glaze Ghoulish Glow & Sinful Colors GITD plus the black end of this Shany Nail Art Pen (from a set of 24 colors I got thru Amazon)

2 Coats of 802. Your standard white crème. A lil streaky on da 1st coat but da 2nd smoothed it all out. Since 'white' gitd polishes tend to be more of an off white/yellow & rather sheer, since they're intended as a topper, undies are a must if you don't want VNL!

 2 coat of each gitd polish: p & t got Rubie's, r ~ Black Heart Beauty, m ~ China Glaze
& I ~ Sinful Colors. All of them looked white unless da light hit them from just da right angle, then da Sinful Colors looked a wee bit yellowish, but not hideous. After adding da nail art, I finished with a coat of Seche Vite.

GITD polishes are a pita to get good pics of! Mr Inky tried 5 times before his tolerance wore out & this was da best of da lot. All of da polishes glowed,
but da comparison winner is...

Sinful Colors Glow In The Dark!
At only $2 it's a great value.
I had so much fun with this mani that I wore it for 4 days!

Just a note ~ my bottle of China Glaze Ghoulish Glow is from last year's release
& tends to separate in the bottle over time. I don't know if this year's formula has fixed this, but I thought you should know.

Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Giving gitd polish a good shaking can help. I don't know if the undie color matters, I haven't tested that yet. LOL

    1. Those nails were SO fun I wore them for 4 days!

Mr Inky is da bomb! I had seen on a blog...I can't remember where...that using a true black light (not the cheap painted bulbs) makes gitd polish glow without going thru all the camera gymnastics. So last night at the Halloween store, he found me a true bulb then he fished an unused clamp lamp out of the garage & I used it successfully in the bathroom to take a pic for Friday's post.
