Show & Tell ~ Vivid Lacquer!

Hello Dahlings!

For this week's Show & Tell I have both plates & polishes from Vivid Lacquer!
I started my shopping on da Sunday 'twixt black Friday
& cyber Monday with some sale polish...

Don't ya just love a good sale?

Then on cyber Monday Vivid Lacquer released a bunch of new stamping plates!
They weren't on sale & no, I didn't get them all, just da ones I really liked
& knew I would use.

I left da blue film on cuz it helps cut da glare when taking pics.
You do need to remove this plastic before using any stamping plate.
I find either pulling my thumb across da edge
or using a pointy tool makes getting this film off a wee bit easier.

I also picked up both da squishy XL & firm XL stampers Vivid Lacquer carries.
Da one I have from Mash is ok, but it doesn't always transfer da whole image
& when my nails are longish, it isn't big enuf.
So I will be comparing these 2 against each other, da one from Mash
& a Pueen stamper in da near future.
(da Pueen set came with da plates I ordered off Amazon months ago.)

Oh, just to let you know: Vivid Lacquer is on vaca until January 2nd.

You only have 2 days left to enter da Jingle All The Way Giveaway!

Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I preordered several of the plates and was so excited to get them! I love the idea of those pine boughs and wanted to use them for the holidays, but just wasn't quite sure how to use them best. If you come up with some ideas, please share!

    1. Sure! Long images, like the pine bough, work well when stamped across several nails, like a series of panels that can be viewed on their own or as a whole.
